How wonderful would it be to simply stand under the showerhead and wash all your troubles away?  Letting go of all the stress, worry, doubt and fear as the warm water gently washes down your shoulders back and legs? Better still a soak in a hot steaming tub of water … ahhh.

What is if it were almost as easy?  Would you do it?  I’m going to share some simple and effective ways to improve your health, especially your reproductive well-being by simply using water.

#1.  Drink more water.  Yes folks, without adequate water intake, the cells in your body don’t function optimally.  Besides the dozens of documented health benefits from resolving constipation to normalizing your blood pressure, the standard medical “testing” may not show abnormalities with your ovulation, uterine lining, and HPO axis until you fall way below the standard.  Water protects your organs and delivers vital nutrients and hormones.  Try drinking 2 litres a day, more if you live where it is dry, and more again when you exercise.

#2.  Be thankful for the water you drink.  Is it clean?  Is it cold (or hot) as per your preference?  Did it come easily from your tap, fridge, or the bottle of your choice?  Many take clean drinking water for granted.  You don’t need to be spiritual to bless it.  Many a women does so much more work just to have that refreshing taste of water.  The next time you have a glass in hand, say a quick Thank You.  This little practice can go a long way to enhancing your well-being.

#3. As you drink more water, a good point to be conscious of is the amount of chlorine that is present.  High chlorine counts in water have been associated with miscarriages.  Yes, you can buy bottled water, a water filtration system, or even high end ionization system to obtain some of the “best water”.  All of these have downsides and unproven “benefits”.  A quick fix is to simply put your pitcher of water on the counter and let Mother Nature do the rest.  The chlorine should evaporate in a few hours.  Leave it in the fridge for 24 hours if you prefer it cool.  I highly recommend you tape your favourite positive words to the container for added benefit.  I use the words LOVE, COMPASSION, PEACE AND GOOD JOB from Dr. Marasu Emoto’s experiment with water.

Remember, you are made up of almost 75% water and without it, you die.  With sub-optimal intake, your heart, brain and reproductive organs function sub-optimally.  So if you want to experience some magical healing powers, stop what you are doing right now and grab a glass of water.  Thank it first and your body will thank you even more!
